Madbot 1.3.0 is now available. Here is what is new 👇
✏️ Batch edit for metadata
Samples, datalinks and the metadata objects of a submission now open in a spreadsheet-like table: one row per object, one column per metadata field. In this table you can:
- edit simple values inline, and richer ones (lists, objects, formatted text) in a dialog;
- add or remove a field for every row at once;
- sort and filter on names and simple fields;
- drag a value down to fill a column.
🔑 Personal access tokens
Create, list and revoke tokens from Parameters → Tokens, and use them to call the API from your scripts or pipelines.
🌳 Your tree, your order
Sibling nodes can now be reordered, so the workspace tree shows them in the order that makes sense to your project.
📝 Markdown descriptions through the API
Nodes created through the API can carry a description written in Markdown; madbot converts it for the editor.
📋 A richer metadata referential
New fields map to ENA checklists 23 and 25: environmental context, geographic location, nucleic acid, PCR conditions and primers, library and sequencing details, multiplex identifiers.
